Description

The Copt Hill Haughton le Spring owned by ex Sunderland legend Bobby Kerr, who captained the Sunderland side which beat Leeds in the FA cup final in 1973.

Obviously Booby is now retired from his true love, Football, and has been in the Copt Hill for 10 years.

This pub is set amongst some of the best views in the area and is opposite the Copt Hill Seven Sisters, which happens to be a medieval burial ground and is promoted by National Heritage.

The pub itself has a warm friendly bar, restaurant and also the captains suite, which is a function room which can seat up to 80 and contains a wealth of memorabilia from Bobby's Sunderland playing days.

The pub has Real Ale, Theakstons XB, Stella, Carling, Carlsburg, Fosters, Tetley, John Smiths, & Boddington's.
